We’re not there yet.

I believe in a perpetual state of change and motion. I had a high paid creative job at an outstanding ad agency in Brazil when I realized it wasn’t enough for me. From there I went back to study and graduate in graphic design at the Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena.

Then, I started all over again as a designer/motion designer/content director, until becoming a multimedia director for the past 15 years. Ironically, the more of a multidisciplinary professional one becomes, fewer are the places where one can be happy working at. Althought I have been really lucky to find some of these places throughout my career, we’re not quite there yet. My last one was South America animation powerhouse Vetor Zero/Lobo.cx where I became twice the most awarded director of South America in innovation-related projects, with more than 100 awards worldwide in 6 years, also twice invited to the MIT/MediaLab XR hackaton and 2022 jury president at the prestigious D&AD’s New Blood Awards.

My wife, with whom I have two wonderful boys, says that sometimes she is convinced that I’m an extra-terrestrial marooned for life on Earth, because I’ll never stop looking for the future. So, in her eyes, I’m looking once again for the mothership, hoping that this will be the one which where the beings speak my language and where the E.T. will finally go home. I’m not so sure that I want to end up somewhere but, rather, that I never stop going forward.

I want to be where the question “are we there yet” doesn’t get answered at all. That’s the right place for me.
